Being a monthly donor is a tremendous source of support for L'Arche Nehalem. It provides us with a consistent base of private support that is critical to the stability and vitality of our mission. The statement your commitment makes, showing the depth of support we have from the community, has a value that goes far beyond the monetary value of the contribution itself. The many convenient options available now for processing your donation make the choice to become a monthly donor easier then ever before.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE AVAILABLE?

You can pay by check, credit card, or through PayPal. We of course accept cash as well, but don't recommend sending it through the mail.

CAN YOU SEND ME MONTHLY PAYMENT ENVELOPES?

Yes. We will be delighted to send you a year's supply of payment envelopes. Just check the box on the reply card.

CAN I GET A MONTHLY REMINDER?

Yes. We will gladly send you an e-mail or post card reminder at the beginning of each month. Simply check the appropriate box on the reply card.

HOW DO I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

You may make a credit card payment by going to www.larche-portland.org and clicking "Donate Now." We use PayPal to process our credit card payments. You do not have to have or open a PayPal account to make an online donation through our "PayPal store." After clicking "Donate Now," fill in your donation amount and either sign in, or if you do not have a PayPal account, click where it says "If you do not currently have a PayPal account, CLICK HERE." Then continue to follow the simple, secure process.

CAN I MAKE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS?

Yes. Just fill in the credit card information on the reply card. (For security reasons, we will contact you later for your card's verification number.) L'Arche Nehalem will apply the payment to your credit card each month. You will be notified 7 days ahead of each payment and may cancel any payment, anytime, simply by calling or e-mailing the office. Your credit card information will of course be held in complete privacy and will never be used for any other purpose.

Alternatively, you may opt to use the automatic bill-paying facilities provided by your own bank.

CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS THROUGH MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

Yes. Just go to www.larche-portland.org and click the "Donate Now" button. With PayPal, you can also use your checking account as the funding source instead of your credit card.

We use PayPal to process our credit card payments. If you already have a PayPal account and would like us to apply your monthly donation automatically, check the appropriate box on the reply card, and we will contact you for your login information. We will of course treat the information with the utmost confidentiality, just as we do your credit card information. You can also set up your checking account as the fund source.

WILL I RECEIVE A TAX RECEIPT?

Your monthly donation is fully tax deductible. Monthly donors receive a convenient tax receipt at the end of the calendar year. Many monthly donors choose to contribute an extra gift at Christmas time or for a special event. For monthly donors, these gifts will be included in the end-of-year tax receipt unless an individual receipt is requested.
