SUMMARY:L'Arche@UP Workshop: How to Connect Across Ability
DESCRIPTION:L’Arche@UP (REX) is a long-standing community of university students\, and people with and without intellectual disabilities from the metro Portland area. We build relationships across difference and explore spirituality in accessible ways.\n\nWe’re kicking off the winter/spring semester with a workshop on how to connect across differences of ability. Our very own Therese (house coordinator) and Annie Rose (core member) will co-facilitate!\n\nWe will also have a chance to practice our “being together” with a low-key activity: collaging Prayer Cards.\n\nAnd we’ll have pizza available for lunch!\n\nPlease RSVP using the google form linked here by Fri 1/23 at 12pm\, so we plan for enough food and can accommodate any dietary restrictions.\n\nWant to volunteer? Please mark on the RSVP form if you’d like to help with set-up & greeting\, clean-up\, or lead part of the event.
