You’re invited to join us this spring as we are re-start a rhythm of monthly Spirituality nights at Neahkahnie House!

You can save the dates on your calendar – every first Thursday!

We will start with a Potluck dinner, then gather around some candles in the living room to form a Circle of Light.

This will be a simple time of singing, reflection on a reading or image, and time for folks to share prayers aloud.

This month, we will be practicing the awkward-but-meaningful tradition of foot washing.

…Foot washing is a L’Arche tradition that helps us reflect on the ways we mutually serve one another each day. It is also a tradition practiced in the Christian Church during Holy Week, to remember how Jesus modeled and called others to humble service.

…No one is required to have their own feet washed. You’ll have the option of having your hand(s) washed, one or both feet, or simply observing and contemplating.
